Please post:

1. uname -a
2. env (of oracle user)

Mentioned patches are _not_ needed for initial 9204 install. Has
nothing to do with your reported error :-)

This error occur when 32 bit Oracle is installed on 64 bit OS
(_unsupported combination_). Please make sure you are using 64 bit
version Oracle.
